Safety

Alasveris connects buyers and sellers, but every transaction requires good judgment from the people involved. Use these guidelines to protect your account, personal information, money, and property when communicating with another user or considering a listing. Alasveris is a marketplace platform. Unless a specific Alasveris service explicitly states otherwise, Alasveris does not inspect items, hold funds, provide escrow, arrange delivery, or guarantee transactions between buyers and sellers.

1) Before contacting a seller

Review the listing carefully before making contact.
•Read the full description and check the stated condition, price, location, and seller information.
•Review all available photos and look for inconsistencies between the photos and description.
•For expensive or complex items, ask for additional photos, video, serial or model information, service history, or other relevant details when appropriate.
•Compare the price with similar listings. A price that is unusually low may require additional verification.
•Ask questions about anything that is unclear before agreeing to buy.
•Never rely only on an AI-generated summary or response when making an important purchasing decision.
If important information does not match or the seller avoids reasonable questions, do not rush the transaction.

2) Communicating safely

Clear communication can prevent many disputes and scams.
•Keep important communication in Alasveris messages when possible so you have a record of the conversation.
•Confirm the price, item condition, included accessories, delivery or collection method, and other important terms before completing a deal.
•Be cautious if someone immediately pressures you to move the conversation to another platform.
•Do not open suspicious links sent through messages.
•Be cautious with QR codes, shortened links, payment pages, or courier pages sent by another user.
•Never install remote-access software at another user's request.
•Do not allow another person to remotely control your phone or computer.
Pressure, urgency, secrecy, or requests to bypass normal verification are common warning signs.

3) Protect your account

Your Alasveris account should only be accessed by you or by people you have explicitly authorized where appropriate.
Never share:
•your password;
•an OTP or email verification code;
•password-reset links or codes;
•full payment-card details;
•CVV/security codes;
•online-banking credentials;
•banking-app access;
•authentication codes from another service.
Alasveris Support should never need your password or full card security credentials to investigate a normal support request.
If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password as soon as possible and contact Alasveris Support.

4) Payment safety

Treat payment requests carefully, especially when dealing with someone you have never met.
•Confirm who you are paying and what you are paying for.
•Verify the item and seller before making a significant advance payment.
•Be suspicious of requests for urgent deposits intended to prevent you from checking the transaction.
•Never provide an OTP, card security code, banking password, or account login to receive money.
•A legitimate buyer does not need access to your banking account to pay you.
•Do not trust a payment only because another person sends a screenshot, email, or message claiming that money was transferred.
•Verify incoming funds through your own bank or payment provider.
Be particularly cautious when someone claims that you must pay an additional “release”, “verification”, “insurance”, “courier”, or similar fee before money can be received.
Unless an official Alasveris feature explicitly says otherwise, a payment page or payment request sent by another user is not operated or guaranteed by Alasveris.

5) Meeting in person

For transactions completed face to face:
•Meet in a public and appropriate location whenever possible.
•Prefer daytime for meetings with people you do not know.
•Tell someone you trust where you are going for a high-value transaction.
•Inspect the item before paying whenever practical.
•Confirm that the item matches the listing and your agreement.
•Do not carry more cash than necessary.
•Do not enter an unsafe location because a seller or buyer pressures you to do so.
For high-value transactions, consider bringing another person with you and using a payment method that provides an appropriate record of the transaction.
If a situation feels unsafe, leave.

6) Shipping and delivery

Transactions involving shipping require additional care because the buyer may not be able to inspect the item before payment.
Before agreeing to shipping:
•confirm the seller's identity and contact information where appropriate;
•agree clearly on the item, price, shipping cost, carrier, and delivery terms;
•use tracking where available;
•keep receipts, tracking information, and important messages;
•inspect delivered goods as soon as reasonably possible.
Be cautious with links that imitate well-known courier or delivery companies.
A message claiming that a courier requires your card details, banking credentials, OTP, or an unusual payment before releasing funds should be treated with caution.
Unless explicitly offered as an Alasveris service, Alasveris does not operate or guarantee third-party shipping or delivery.

7) Common scam warning signs

No single sign proves that a listing or user is fraudulent, but several warning signs together should make you more cautious.
Examples include:
•a price far below the normal market value;
•urgent requests for advance payment;
•pressure to complete the transaction immediately;
•refusal to provide reasonable additional information;
•inconsistent photos, descriptions, location, or contact details;
•copied or suspicious-looking listing photos;
•requests for OTP or verification codes;
•requests for banking passwords or card security information;
•fake payment confirmations;
•fake courier or payment links;
•requests to install remote-access software;
•claims that you must pay money in order to receive money;
•a buyer offering substantially more than the asking price without a clear reason;
•requests to send money to an unrelated third party;
•unusual stories designed to prevent normal verification.
When something does not make sense, verify it independently before continuing.

8) Safety for sellers

Sellers also need to protect themselves.
•Describe items honestly and use photos that accurately represent what you are selling.
•Disclose significant defects or limitations that a reasonable buyer should know about.
•Confirm the agreed price and handover terms before meeting or shipping.
•Do not treat a screenshot as proof of payment.
•Verify payment independently before handing over or shipping an item.
•Do not share unnecessary personal or financial information with buyers.
•Be cautious when a buyer asks you to pay a fee or enter card information in order to receive payment.
•Keep relevant records for higher-value transactions.
Accurate listings and clear communication reduce disputes for both parties.

9) Vehicles

Vehicle transactions may involve substantial amounts of money and additional legal or ownership requirements.
Before buying a vehicle, consider verifying:
•the identity of the seller;
•ownership and registration documents;
•vehicle identification information;
•mileage and service history where available;
•accident or damage history where available;
•whether financing, liens, or other restrictions may apply;
•the physical condition of the vehicle.
Inspect and test the vehicle where appropriate, and consider an independent professional inspection before completing a high-value purchase.
Do not rely solely on information in an Alasveris listing when verifying ownership, legal status, mechanical condition, or vehicle history.

10) Real estate

Take additional precautions with property listings.
Before paying a deposit, rent, purchase amount, reservation fee, or other significant payment:
•verify the identity of the person or business offering the property;
•verify that they are authorized to offer the property;
•inspect the property in person where practical;
•review the relevant documents;
•confirm the address and material terms;
•use appropriate professional or legal assistance for significant transactions when needed.
Be especially cautious when someone refuses a viewing but requests money immediately, claims to be unavailable for verification, or pressures you to pay before reviewing documents.
Alasveris does not independently guarantee ownership, title, availability, condition, or legal status of property advertised by users.

11) Jobs and services

Use caution when responding to job or service listings.
A legitimate opportunity should not normally require you to disclose highly sensitive information before the identity of the employer or service provider has been reasonably established.
Be cautious of:
•requests for payment simply to apply for a job;
•requests to purchase equipment through an unknown third party;
•unrealistic income promises;
•requests to receive or forward money for someone else;
•requests to use your personal bank account for business transactions;
•attempts to obtain passwords, verification codes, or unnecessary financial information.
Verify the company or person independently when appropriate.

12) Stores and professional sellers

A Store profile provides additional marketplace functionality for professional or business sellers, but the existence of a Store on Alasveris should not by itself be treated as a guarantee of a seller, product, service, or transaction.
Before a significant transaction, review the available Store information and perform any additional verification appropriate to the purchase.
Store owners remain responsible for the accuracy of their listings, communications, products, services, and transaction terms.

13) AI-generated information

Alasveris may use AI for search, listing assistance, Store Assistant responses, marketing tools, and other supported features.
AI can make mistakes, misunderstand context, or generate incomplete information.
Do not rely solely on AI-generated information when deciding whether to:
•buy or sell an item;
•send money;
•enter into a contract;
•evaluate a vehicle or property;
•trust a seller or buyer;
•make another important financial or legal decision.
Always verify important information with the relevant user, documentation, or appropriate independent source.

14) Reporting suspicious content

If a listing appears suspicious or violates Alasveris rules, use the Report option available on the listing.
For concerns involving a user, Store, suspicious message, suspected fraud, or another issue that cannot be reported directly through a listing, contact Alasveris Support.
When reporting an issue, provide as much useful information as possible, including:
•the listing or Store link;
•the username or other relevant account information;
•a clear description of what happened;
•relevant messages;
•screenshots;
•dates or timestamps where useful.
Do not alter or fabricate evidence.
Reports may be reviewed and appropriate action may be taken under the applicable Alasveris rules.

15) If you believe you were scammed

If you believe you have already sent money or information to a fraudulent party:
1.Stop further communication or payments if it is safe to do so.
2.Contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider as soon as possible if money or payment information is involved.
3.Change affected passwords and secure relevant accounts if credentials may have been exposed.
4.Report the relevant listing or activity to Alasveris.
5.Keep messages, receipts, transaction information, screenshots, and other evidence.
6.Contact the appropriate local authorities when the situation involves suspected crime, theft, threats, or other urgent concerns.
Alasveris cannot guarantee recovery of money or property transferred between users.

16) Personal safety and emergencies

Do not continue with a transaction if you feel threatened or unsafe.
Alasveris Support is not an emergency service.
If you face an immediate threat, violence, theft, or another emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services or law-enforcement authorities.
Do not wait for an Alasveris report to be reviewed before seeking emergency assistance.

17) What Alasveris can do

Depending on the circumstances and available information, Alasveris may review reported content or account activity and take action under its platform rules.
Actions may include measures such as restricting content or account access where permitted by the applicable Alasveris rules.
A report does not guarantee a particular outcome. Reviews depend on the information available and the circumstances of the case.
For information about platform rules, see our Terms.
For information about personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

18) Your responsibility in a transaction

Alasveris provides tools for discovering listings and communicating between users.
Buyers and sellers remain responsible for evaluating the people, listings, products, services, documents, payment methods, delivery arrangements, and terms involved in their transactions.
Before committing money or property:
•verify important information;
•ask questions;
•inspect where appropriate;
•keep relevant records;
•stop if something does not make sense.
No safety guide can eliminate every risk. Use judgment appropriate to the value and nature of the transaction.
Report a safety concern
If you find suspicious content or activity on Alasveris, report the relevant listing when the Report option is available or contact Alasveris Support.
Include enough information for the issue to be reviewed effectively.
